Filipino influencer Emmanuele “Emman” Atienza, just 19 years old, was found dead at her home in Los Angeles, California (USA), on Wednesday (22), according to local media reports citing the city’s Department of Medical Examiner.
“With deep sadness, we share the unexpected passing of our daughter and sister, Emman,” wrote her mother, Felicia Atienza, in a social media post.
“She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and the lives of everyone who knew her. Emman had a special way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own experiences with mental health. Her authenticity helped many feel less alone,” she added.
Felicia also stated that, in honor of her daughter, she hopes everyone will continue to uphold the values Emman represented — “compassion, courage, and an extra touch of kindness in everyday life.” The family has not released details about the funeral.
The young woman, who had over 880,000 followers on TikTok and more than 250,000 on Instagram, became known for her authentic content about fashion, lifestyle, and self-esteem. On many occasions, she spoke openly about topics such as mental health and body positivity.
Her most recent posts depicted a light and inspiring lifestyle, with photos of her rock climbing, traveling, and enjoying time with friends.
Emman’s untimely death has caused deep shock among fans and fellow influencers, who have flooded social media with messages of love and tributes.
